This free program allows you to do several
things. You can: |
| A WAV file is a large high quality audio file of a song that is uncompressed. This can be around 20-100MB depending on the song length and the quality of the extraction rate. |
| An MP3 file is a compressed version of a WAV file that takes up a very small fraction of this space. Most are around 1-3MB in size which makes it easier to exchange music between people online. |
| When encoding an MP3 with this program you can use different encoding rates. The higher the encoding rate the better the quality. But the higher the rate you set the larger the file is. |
|
Please use a rate
at least 128kbps and a maximum of 192kbps
This can be set in the program options |
